Ponyboy Curtis (played by senior Brian Dallke) lives in small town in Oklahoma with his brothers. After their parents death, his older brothers Darry (senior Brian Keil) and Sodapop (senior Andrew Hudson) grow up fast in order to take care of him and keep their family together. The boys hang around other kids who are Greasers like them. Greasers are poorer and considered wilder by some. Some look rougher on the outside like Dallas Winston played by senior Titus Smith. Some are just looking for a good time and booze like Two-bit (junior Logan Liptak) and others (like freshman Taylor Coy’s portrayal of Johnny) are just looking to belong. The Greasers often run into trouble with the Socs, short for Socials. The Socs are stuck up rich kids who seem to not have any problems. But is that really true? When Bob (Freshman Dylan Gogan) and his best friend Randy (senior Vee Reese) who are two Socs out looking for trouble cause a fight with Ponyboy and Johnny, a dangerous set of events unfolds. The boys are on the run left asking a lot of questions about life, friendship and what family really means. Sophomore Sophie Kuehl as Cherry Valance and seniors Lexi Bentz as Marcia Kaylie Shepherd as Sandy round out this fan favorite studded cast and show. Come join us this November as the Field High School Drama Club presents: THE OUTSIDERS based on the novel by S.E. Hinton.
