Hello Parents, Students, and Community Members!

Welcome to my enrichment web page! On this site you will be able to navigate through enriched web site resources, review homework and daily assignments, and stay up to date on the latest gifted education news.

Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so exctied to work with you and your child! It's going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us! Here is a little bit about me.

I am married to my wonderful husband Joe and we have two little girls. Our oldest daughter will be three years old this summer, and her name is Eliana. Our youngest daughter will be one year old in June, and her name is Irelyn. I love spending time with my family. I also love crafting, shopping, cooking, reading, and interior design.

I have lived in Suffield most of my life and my parents still live there today. My husband and I moved from Suffield to Brimfield five years ago. I graduated from Field High School in 2002, Kent State Univeristy in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Middle Childhood Education and earned my master's degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy from Walden University in 2011. I earned my gifted education endorsement from the University of Cincinnati.

This is my second year of teaching as the Gifted Intervention Specialist at Brimfield and Suffield Elementaries. Before that I taught ELA at both Brimfield and Suffield Elementary and fourth grade at Dewitt Elementary in Cuyahoga Falls. I absolutely love teaching students English language arts skills and mathematical skills that will help students become college and career ready! I love working with gifted students to provide extra challenges that enrich and foster growth in their learning. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in all of my students. I teach with a passion so that my students develop the desire to become life-long learners as well.

Please let me know if you ever have any questions or concerns. It is important to keep good communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need. I look forward to a great year together!!
