Player of the Week

Christian Gressman

Christian has been playing football for 11 years. He earned his Varsity letter last year as a sophomore.

Christian is also a member of the Field High Track and Field team. He throws shot put and discus.

One of his favorite memories is winning against Woodridge on homecoming his freshman year.

His favorite sports team is The Ohio State Buckeyes. His favorite color is black, favorite food is steak and favorite tv show is Breaking Bad. In his spare time, he enjoys lifting.

Christian plans on attending college but is undecided on what he will study.

Sarah has been running cross country for 6 years. She is captain of the girls team and earned the Most Supportive Award.

In addition to running cross country, she is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society and Saint Peter of the Field’s Youth Group.

Some of her favorite memories are the pasta parties they have before each meet. She enjoys having dinner, playing games and getting the chance to know everyone on the team on a personal level.

Her favorite color is light purple and favorite food is tacos. She enjoys painting and drawing.

Sarah plans on attending Kent State to study integrated mathematics. Her goal is to become a high school math teacher.

Emberly has been cheering for 13 years.  

She is a 3 year letter winner and a 2 year Varsity Captain.

Her favorite memory was when her team competed at the state tournament.

Emberly enjoys volunteering as a youth cheer coach.

Emberly’s favorite color is teal and her favorite food is chicken quesadillas from Taco Bell.  Her favorite TV show is Vampire Diaries.

In her spare time she likes to bake.

Emberly is planning on attending Akron University for nursing and would like to become a pediatric nurse anesthetist.

Ella has been playing volleyball for 7 years. She has lettered in volleyball and softball.

Ella is a member of the Field High School Student Council.

Her favorite high school sports memory was during softball last year when her, Kait, Sarah and Haley kept dancing while cleaning up and the whole
team had to run.

Her favorite color is white and her favorite food is sushi.

She  enjoys shopping and going to Starbucks.

Ella enjoys watching Vampire Diaries and the Pitch Perfect movies.

Will has been golfing for 4 years. During his junior year he won the MAC Honorable Mention award and earned his 3rd year letterman award.

In addition to golf, he plays basketball and runs track at Field.

In his spare time, he enjoys being in a fantasy football league with his friends. He also enjoys fishing and playing video games.

Will’s favorite movie is Star Wars: A New Hope.

Will plans on attending college and getting a degree in criminology.
