Hola!
I'm Terri Baker. I began teaching Spanish for Field Local Schools in 2010. I previously taught 12 years for Kent Roosevelt, 2 years at KSU, and I am currently employed by Akron University, which enables me to bring College Credit Plus Spanish 201 and 202 to our advanced Spanish students.
I grew up in Hudson, Ohio, so I am a local=)
I have both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Teaching degrees earned at Kent State. My husband and I were married in 1991 and have two adult children, one a Field graduate of 2014, and the other graduated from Kent Roosevelt in 2011.
I enjoy MANY outdoor activities, or a classic piece of literature by a fire on a cold evening. Teaching at FHS is a HUGE part of my life, and I can sincerely say that each student who passes through my classroom adds something new and wonderful to my experience, and I hope they take something special from here (even more than an appreciation of the Spanish language and culture) with them when they leave, wherever they may be headed.
