School News

There will be no school on Monday, May 27, 2013 in observance of Memorial Day. 

The last day of school  for the 2012 - 2013 school year will be on Friday, May 31st.  The students will be dismissed at 1:00 pm. 

We would like to thank everyone who attended our Standing Room Only Literacy Fair last Thursday.  It was a huge success!  We raised nearly $1,000 for technology to be used at Suffield Elementary.  Below is a sampling of the chairs that were available for purchase via auction!

Our school came together Friday afternoon to show support for the 3rd, 4th & 5th graders who will be taking the Ohio Achievement Assessments on April 22nd through May 2nd.  Our Suffield Students have a lot of spirit--watch it here.  Check out the staff version of the famous gameshow Show What You Know.

Suffield Elementary students created a cardboard arcade after watching the video Caine's Arcade.  This arcade helped to highlight our school-wide theme, Our Earth.  The students came to explore the arcade with their grade level and take pride in their creations.  Click on the link to see the highlight videos!

The Suffield Elementary Kindess Club is happy to help others!  The students and staff focus on ways to brighten someone's day or help someone in need.  This month the club is working on a Valentine's Day project.  Click on the link to see the video of the Kindness Club at work!

Registration for students entering Kindergarten for the 2013 - 2014 school year are being held at Suffield Elementary School on Tuesday, April 9th and Wednesday, April 10th from 4:00-7:00 pm.  Students must turn 5 on or before August 1st to register for the upcoming school year.  If you have any questions, please call Kelly Hurd at 330-552-5252.
