Students should send in $3.00 for lunch. PTA will be purchase pizza, veggies, apple slices (donated by cafeteria), and yogurt tubes for ALL students on Field day. A snack of a snow cone and popsicle will be provided during the day. Click here for VOLUNTEER INFORMATION: We will have a very structured volunteer policy this day for the safety of ALL our children. Please sign up ahead of time. All volunteers will sign in at the lobby and will receive their identification passes. All volunteers will be clearly identified this year.

Elementary school students will be dismissed at 1:00. There will be NO in school student sign-out from the office after 12:00 (noon). If you must pick up your child early, please do it before noon. Bus riders will be on buses and will be leaving the school at 12:55. Car rider and walker dismissal will begin at 12:50. All students are expected to be picked up not later than 1:15.

The Field District Leadership Team is looking for community input on vital issues for our district. If you would like to share you opinion, please consider participating in a community-wide survey. You can get an electronic copy of the survey by sending your e-mail address to info@fieldlocalschools.org or you may request a paper copy of the survey through your building's secretary. Surveys will be sent out beginning May 31st.

If your family is moving over the summer and you will no longer live in the Field Local School district, please stop in our office to withdraw your child before the end of the school year. You can also print the withdrawal form from our website and send it in with your child or mail it to our school. This will facilitate faster forwarding of your child's records to his or her new school. If you have any questions, please call the school office.

It is time to begin planning for the 2013-2014 school year! If you have a child that will be attending Kindergarten in 2013-2014 please call Brimfield Elementary Office and ask for Mrs. Cindy Cook to schedule an appointment to register your child.

Due to our district's August 1st kindergarten cut-off date, all students registering for the 2013-2014 school year must be five years old by July 31st 2013.

In conjunction with the Brimfield Township Police Department, we asking parents to donate items for their student(s) Homeroom class. The "Go Bucket" is designed for emergency situations where the class is either barricaded in the classroom or evacuated. The following items are in needed at Brimfield Elementary:
For the Clinic: New or nearly new sweat pants, small, medium and large youth sizes. New or very gently used clean (no discoloration) childrens socks. New boys and girls underwear (all sizes).
For the Office: New hats and gloves for children in need. Clorex Wipes and Kleenex.
Mr. Irland's Kindergarten Class: Old working technology with power cords: iPods, iPads, laptops.
Mrs. Morrison's 3rd Grade Class: Multipication Flash Cards. Dry Erase Markers all colors (markers are used everyday).
Miss Viall's 5th Grade Class: Clorex Wipes and Kleenex

Important facts about bullying that you need to know:

Bullying is any intentional written, verbal, electronic or physical act that a student has exhibited toward another particular student more than once and the behavior both causes mental or physical harm to the other student and is sufficiently severe, persistent or pervasive that it creates an intimidating, threatening, or abusive educational environment for the other student.

The law requires disciplinary action for students who bully other in any manner. This is not limited to incidents on school property or during school hours.

Making a knowingly false report will result in disciplinary action as required by Ohio law.
