The seven Seventeen Credit Union  Scholarship program now offers twelve Scholarships to members of seven Seventeen Credit Union, or the children of members of which eight of Scholarships (4Merit and 4 Spirit) are awarded to the University of Akron, Youngstown State University, Kent State University Main Campus, and one to Kent State University regional Campus ( Ashtabula, Salem, Stark or Trumbull). Field High School will host a College Credit Plus Information Night on December 7, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the high school cafeteria. Ohio’s College Credit Plus can help you earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students. Taking a college course from a public college or university College Credit Plus is free. That means no cost for tuition, books or fees if you attend public school in the state of Ohio. The College Credit Plus Program is open to students in grades 7 through 12. Students must meet the college admission standards to participate in the program. For more information contact Mr. Stockley in the high school Guidance Office.

SeniorAdvisor.com is pleased to announce our 4th annual scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors. This general scholarship is open to students enrolled in an associate's degree, bachelor's degree or graduate level program at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university. With your assistance spreading the news, we hope to make our scholarship available to as many eligible students as possible.

Below is the information to share with the relevant departments and students, and to post on the scholarship page of your website:

SeniorAdvisor.comFuture of Assisted Living Scholarship. Three $2,000 scholarships available to students enrolled in an associate's degree, bachelor's degree or graduate level program at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university. Each eligible student must submit a 500-750 word essay response to the question: How can your major of study improve the lives of seniors in assisted living facilities in your town? Deadline is December 31, 2017. Scholarship award recipients will be announced January 31, 2018.
