IMPORTANT WEATHER NOTICE

As of today, both Field Local Schools along with our salt supplier have depleted the road salt supply that was purchased for the season. We are currently seeking another company that can assist us in getting another supply. Please use extreme caution in the parking lots and sidewalks throughout the District.  We hope to rectify the situation soon.

The Superintendent's Message has been updated! Take a look-located on the left side of the website.

Calamity Day Information

Field Local Schools will be allotted 6 calamity days this school year.  As of 1/17/18, we have used 5. If make up days are necessary, we will begin that process on June 7 and continue on week days thereafter until fulfilled.  We will NOT be using any days of Spring Break.  If you have any questions, please contact the Superintendent's Office.
New School Attendance Law (HB410)

New School Attendance Law (HB410)

The state of Ohio has put a new law into effect this school year with expectations of attendance for all students. Field Local School District has adopted this policy.

The 2017-18 school year is here and Field Local Schools staff has exciting plans and high expectations for your child’s learning.  We know that you also have many hopes and dreams for your child’s success in school and beyond.

To make sure those hopes and dreams are realized, we want to ask for your commitment to making sure your child attends school every day possible this year. The evidence is clear: children with good attendance are more likely to be successful in school. High attendance rates are linked to high student achievement.  This is true for every grade – elementary, middle, and high school students. Click here to read the policy.

KNOW! What's Trending--The Tide Pod Challenge

If you are raising teenagers, you have no doubt heard of some of the ridiculous internet challenges that exist among this age group. While some of these new-age “dares” are silly and harmless, many more are dangerous and even deadly, like the one currently trending – the ‘Tide Pod Challenge.’  Click here for a discussion guide.
Girl Talk GLITTER

Girl Talk GLITTER

It's that time of year again!
