Students in my class spend 1-2 days in the community. We complete volunteer work, community experience and leisure activities.

"It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings" ~ Ann Landers

Field Local Schools offers Special Education Programs offered for students. Placement in each of these programs is determined by the Special Services Department located in the Central District offices. Testing and evaluation is required according to State Guidelines for admission to these programs and an Individual Education Plan (I.E.P.) is developed for each student. If any parent, teacher, or other school staff member suspects that a student needs one of these programs, they may request a referral through the building principal. For students who do not qualify for Special Education Programs, an Intervention Assistance Team may be set up. For students to be a part of this team, a referral from a parent/guardian, teacher, or any staff member must be made to the guidance counselor or building administrator.
