Class Description:

The Interactive Media course is all about communicating important announcements to our school community!

We will go over video production and then produce videos to serve as the school’s announcements.

We will talk about social networking and then use social networks to communicate with our school community.

We will go over Google Slides as a looping presentation and then post announcements on the TVs in the cafeteria and library.

I’m open to suggestions for other interactions – if you have ideas, let me know!

This class runs like a business. We have a job to do! Use your resources (along the left, scroll down). Do what you need to do to get the job done individually and in groups. If you do your jobs well, your boss (teacher) will reward you with the big bucks (an A)! :) 
 
PLEASE NOTE:
It is your responsibility to complete your assigned tasks on your assigned dates. If group members are absent, those of you who are here still need to get the job done! For example, if you're editor is absent the day before your air date, other group members have to step up and edit!

Check out the newly added "Show Checklist" to the left. I updated how you will be graded out of 60 points (no longer 55). 20 points of your grade will be assigned to you as a whole group. The other 40 points are assigned to your specific task.

Check out the "TO DO" list above. What are YOUR responsibilities today? Also, cast - recycle old papers from folder, videographers - delete old files from your group's folder in the Y-drive.

REMINDER: You do not need to include on-going announcements every show (Ski Club, for example). However, you do need a minimum of 5 segments in each show. You could meet this minimum and keep it fresh by making new (better) clips of ongoing announcements and/or including special segments (see the board)!

Once you've filmed clips for the "FHS is GREAT" video, put them in the folder with the same name in the Y-drive.

I've started editing the video and it is saved in the same folder in the Y-drive. Who wants to work on editing during class today?
